Cibecue (Western Apache Dishchiiʼbikoh) is a census-designated place located in Navajo County, Arizona. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 1,331.
Geography
Cibecue is located at 34°2'23" North, 110°29'8" West (34.039644, -110.485435)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 15.5 km² (6.0 mi²). 15.5 km² (6.0 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,331 people, 323 households, and 268 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 86.1/km² (223.1/mi²). There are 344 housing units at an average density of 22.2/km² (57.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 96.02% Native American, 2.63% White, 0.08% Black or African American, 0.15% Asian, 0.23% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. 2.03% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 323 households out of which 54.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.8% are married couples living together, 34.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 17.0% are non-families. 13.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 4.11 and the average family size is 4.45.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 45.2% under the age of 18, 10.6% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 13.7% from 45 to 64, and 4.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 21 years. For every 100 females there are 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 93.1 males.
