Chubby culture

The chubby community is a subculture in the gay community. Chubbies are gay men who are generally big and heavy, with big bellies. There is some overlap between the chubby community and the bear community.

Chubby men sometimes dissociate themselves from the gay community at large, having their own bars and social events where they can socialize with other members of the chubby and bear communities. They have pageants (much like beauty pagents but generally hypersexual) where titles are given to winners. (Example: "Mr. Chubby International" and "Mr. Chaser International")
