Chorlton-on-Medlock

Chorlton-on-Medlock is a district of Manchester immediately south of Manchester City Centre and south of the River Medlock. The districts borders are roughly Whitworth Street, Stockport Road, Hathersage Road, Moss Lane East and Boundary Lane.

It is bordered on the west by Hulme and in the east by Ardwick and should not be confused with Chorlton-cum-Hardy, another district of Manchester.

A large portion of the district is taken up by the University of Manchester campus.
