Chief Township is a township located in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 132.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 93.6 km² (36.2 mi²). 89.7 km² (34.6 mi²) of it is land and 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.18% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 132 people, 48 households, and 37 families residing in the township. The population density is 1.5/km² (3.8/mi²).
