Cherry Capital Airport is an airport in Traverse City, Michigan. Its IATA Airport Code is TVC. In the fall of 2004 Cherry Capital opened a new terminal (with the inagural flight, Thursday, June 9th, 2005, AA flight 3886). Soon, the airport will implement the first biometric access systems in the country. The airport is the 9th to implement the advanced security measures suggested after the September 11th, terrorist attacks. This terminal is able to comply better to security regulations an supports a greater number of flights and passengers.
