Template:Koreanname noimage Cheongnyangni Station is the Seoul terminus for passenger trains serving the eastern part of South Korea. The station is located just east of downtown Seoul, on the Gyeongwon Line.
Passenger trains serving the following Korean National Railroad lines terminate at Cheongnyangni Station:
- The Gyeongwon Line to Uijeongbu and Sintanni in Gyeonggi Province north of Seoul;
- The Gyeongchun Line to Chuncheon in Gangwon Province east of Seoul;
- The Yeongdong Line to Gangneung, also in Gangwon Province; and
- The Jungang Line to Andong in North Gyeongsang Province and Busan, to the southeast of Seoul.
In addition, the station was the original eastern terminus of Seoul Subway Line 1 when that line opened in 1974. Today, subway trains operate from Cheongnyangni north to Uijeongbu and southwest to Seoul Station, Incheon, and Suwon. A branch of Line 1 connects Cheongnynangni to Yongsan, bypassing Seoul Station.
