Cheil Jedang (known as CJ), is a Korean conglomerate that broke away from its parent company, Samsung. It is currently owned and managed by the daughter of Samsung. CJ is traditionally famous for food products, including processed and prepackaged foods and most notably, sugar. CJ also recently opened a chain of large, multiplex movie theatres under the name CGV.
