Châteauguay—Saint-Constant, previoulsy known as Châteauguay is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 102,709. (2001)

Geography
The district includes all of the Regional County Municipality of Rousillon excepting the extreme eastern part.
History
The electoral district of Châteauguay was created in 1976 from La Prairie and Beauharnois—Salaberry. It was replaced with Châteauguay—Saint-Constant in 2003 with portions cut off to Beauharnois—Salaberry and Saint-Jean.
HVDC-back-to-back-station
Since 1984 there is a HVDC back-to-back-station with a maximum transfer rate of 1000 megawatts in service. This station, hich consists of 2 static inverters working at a voltage of 140 kV was built by Siemens.
