Chadwick A. Trujillo

Chadwick A. Trujillo (born November 22, 1973) is a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech researching the Edgeworth-Kuiper belt and the outer solar system. He received his Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Hawaii in 2000.
He has discovered several trans-Neptunian objects:
- 50000 Quaoar (with Michael (Mike) E. Brown)
- 90377 Sedna (with Mike Brown and David L. Rabinowitz) — thought to be the first inner Öpik-Oort cloud object.
- 90482 Orcus (with Mike Brown and David L. Rabinowitz) — possibly the largest Kuiper belt object after Pluto
