Template:Superherobox Cerise is a fictional character, a superhero in the Marvel Comics universe.
Cerise is an alien from the Shi'ar race. She arrived upon Earth after defecting from the empire's brutal army. She became a member of Excalibur and was romantically involved with Nightcrawler. Eventually, the Shi'ar empress Lilandra pardoned Cerise for her desertion and brought her into the Empire to investigate other reports of brutality.
Cerise's power is the ability to create almost anything she wants in the form of a solid purplish-red colored energy. These include swords, force fields, shields, funnels, and more. She once even used this energy to fly a whole broken Sentinel holding her friends within, across the Atlantic Ocean as a means of disguise. She can also fire this energy as a blast. She can also fly (without use of her energy fields), and hold her breath for six or seven minutes. She wears gloves that allows her to search for specific lifeforms, energy, and time/dimensional abnormalities in a surrounding area.
