Centre for Commercial Law Studies

The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) is a distinct department within the School of Law of Queen Mary, University of London, having been established in 1980 by Sir Roy Goode. In particular, it involves the International Commercial Law & Tax Unit, the International Technology Law Unit, the International Financial Law Unit and the Intellectual Property Law Unit. The latter is now formulated as the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (QMIPRI).
