Celeste is a city located in Hunt County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 817.

The racial makeup of the city is 93.27% White, 3.79% African American, 1.10% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.86% from other races, and 0.86% from two or more races. 2.20% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
