Celebrity Skin is Hole's third and final album, released on September 8, 1998 in the United States, and September 7, 1998 in the rest of the world.
The title of the album derives from the American magazine Celebrity Skin, who reportedly threatened legal action about the use of their name.
The songs were written by the band, some with the help of Billy Corgan.
