Cedar Hills is a town located in Utah County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,094, and by 2003 was estimated at 5,160. The city began growing rapidly during the 1990s and this rapid growth continues to this day. In 1990 it had a population of just 708. It is located east of Alpine and Highland on the slopes of Mount Timpanogos.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²). 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,094 people, 695 households, and 658 families residing in the town. The population density is 606.4/km² (1,573.3/mi²). There are 721 housing units at an average density of 141.3/km² (366.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.09% White, 0.10% African American, 0.29% Native American, 0.52% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 0.52% from other races, and 1.29% from two or more races. 1.94% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 695 households out of which 76.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 89.1% are married couples living together, 4.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 5.3% are non-families. 4.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 1.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 4.44 and the average family size is 4.58.
In the town the population is spread out with 49.0% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 30.4% from 25 to 44, 10.4% from 45 to 64, and 3.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 18 years. For every 100 females there are 101.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 96.6 males.
The median income for a household in the town is $62,688, and the median income for a family is $63,625. Males have a median income of $52,813 versus $32,708 for females.
