|
The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (Hram Hrista Spasitelja) in the Russian city of Kaliningrad is still under construction. It will be the dominant building of the inner city and will be situated near the central place called Ploshchad Pobedy (Victory Square). The cathedral's appearance will be similar to the cathedral of the same name in Moscow. The top of Kaliningrad's new Cathedral will reach 70 meters. Its construction will be finished in 2006.
Today beside the construction area there is a small wooden church.
