Carrizo Springs is a city located in Dimmit County, Texas, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,655. It is the county seat of Dimmit CountyTemplate:GR.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 5,655 people, 1,816 households, and 1,450 families residing in the city. The population density is 699.8/km² (1,812.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 75.28% White, 1.34% African American, 0.69% Native American, 1.10% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 18.83% from other races, and 2.63% from two or more races. 87.21% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
