CUSO

CUSO, once Canadian University Students Overseas, is a Canadian non-profit organization that aids in the development of third-world countries.
Canadian University Students Overseas was founded in 1961 as a university-based organization recruiting students from around the world. However, as these volunteers graduated and recruitment of non-students began, the name no longer accurately described the organization. In 1981, the organization changed its name to CUSO. CUSO is also active in promoting social justice.
