CBET is the television call sign for the CBC's television station in Windsor, Ontario. It originally signed on the air in 1954 as CKLW-TV, owned by RKO General along with CKLW radio.
The station was bought by a consortium of CBC and Baton Broadcasting in 1970, with CBC owning 25% of CKLW and Baton owning the rest; CBC bought out Baton's ownership stake in 1975 and recalled the station as CBET.
