Byron Center is an unincorporated community in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan It is a Census-designated place (CDP) used for statistical purposes. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 3,777.
The community is at the center of Byron Township, about 14 miles south-southwest of Grand Rapids. The ZIP code is 49315.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 3,777 people, 1,322 households, and 1,040 families residing in the community. The population density is 290.5/km² (751.8/mi²). There are 1,374 housing units at an average density of 105.7/km² (273.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 97.93% White, 0.11% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.61% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.21% from other races, and 0.93% from two or more races. 0.95% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
