Brothersvalley Township is a township located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 4,184.
Geography

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 4,184 people, 862 households, and 712 families residing in the township. The population density is 25.8/km² (66.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 69.50% White, 24.69% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 3.78% from other races, and 1.55% from two or more races. 5.62% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
