Bristol Community College is a two-year community college in southeastern Massachusetts. It offers associate degrees as well as a transfer program for students to earn credits for transfer to other colleges. BCC offers over 90 academic programs that allow the students to earn an associate degree of science, associate degree of arts, associate of applied science, or a certificate. BCC has enrolled 6639 day and evening students as of the Fall 2003 semester. The average course, with 3 credits earnable, costs approximately $300 ($100 per credit). The average student pays approximately $2400 in tuition and fees.
BCC has its main campus in Fall River. Satellite campuses are located in New Bedford, Attleboro, and Taunton.
Faculty
Notable faculty members include professor of English Howard Tinberg, the Carnegie Foundation's Outstanding Community College Professor of 2004.
