Brackley

Template:GBmap Brackley is a town in Northamptonshire, England, situated on the River Ouse. In the 2001 census Brackley had a population of 13,331. The town is within the South Northamptonshire district.
Brackley is close to the A43 road which now by-passes the town, which links it to Towcester and Northampton to the east, and the M40 motorway to the west. The A422 links it to Banbury. Brackley once had two railway stations, one on the Great Central main line to London, and another on a LNWR branch line from Banbury to Bletchley, both lines were closed in the 1950s/60s.
Notable buildings in town include Magdalen College School, founded by Magdalen College in Oxford. There are also some remains of a castle.
Brackley is close to the Silverstone racing track, and has some industry related to Formula One racing, most notably British American Racing has their base in the town.
