- Keith Peter Thomas Francis John Duffy (born Oct 1 1974)
- Mikey Christopher Charles Graham (Aug 15 1972)
- Ronan Patrick John Keating (Mar 3 1977)
- Shane Eamonn Mark Stephen Lynch (Jul 3 1976)
- Stephen Patrick David Gately (Mar 17 1976)
They formed on November 18, 1993 with their first appearance on the Late Late Show on Irish Television, where their "dance routine" has been aired repeatedly as an embarrassing TV clip. Their managers were Louis Walsh and Mark Plunkett and they went on to sell more records than Take That. The vast majority of their hits were cover versions of older hits, and as a result have never appealed to the music critics.
