Robert Reynolds Jones Jr. (October 19, 1911 - November 12, 1997) was the president and chancellor of Bob Jones University. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Jones was the son of Bob Jones, Sr., the university's founder. He served as president from 1947 to 1971, at which point he became chancellor until his death in 1997. He was an accomplished Shakesperean actor and studied at Stratford-upon-Avon in 1934. He started a world-renowned art gallery that is the largest collection of religous art outside the Vatican.
He is the father of Bob Jones III.
