Blixa Bargeld

Blixa Bargeld, born Christian Emmerich on January 12, 1959 in West Berlin, Germany. In 1980 he founded the group Einstürzende Neubauten. From 1984 - 2003 he was a guitarist in Nick Cave's Bad Seeds. He had a short romance with transgressive superstar Lung Leg, documented in Nick Zedd's Totem of the Depraved. He is currently married and lives in San Francisco, Shanghai and Berlin.
