Black Star

Black Star could mean the following;
- In the early part of the 20th century, Marcus Garvey created a shipping line called Black Star to repatriate African-Americans to Africa.
- In the 1990s, rappers Mos Def and Talib Kweli formed a group called Black Star and released one album together, Black Star. Though Black Star achieved little commercial success, they (and other members of the Native Tongues Posse) helped shape underground, alternative rap. Both have gone on to greater commercial and critical success in separate solo careers.
- In the Babylon 5 science fiction universe, the Black Star (Babylon 5) was at one time the flagship of the Minbari forces. It was destroyed by Captain John Sheridan, and became the only Sharlin Class Warcruiser to be destroyed in the war by the humans.
- Black Star is also a song by Radiohead on their 1995 (see 1995 in music) album The Bends.
- Black Star is also a double-hopped, pale beer originally brewed in Whitefish, Montana. It is available only in seven Western States.
