Bernard Allen is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's thirty-third House district, including constituents in Wake county. A retired educator from Raleigh, North Carolina, Allen is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his first term in the state House.
Allen has filed for re-election from the thirty-third House district in the 2004 General Assembly election; he faces Libertarian Steven Hilton in the November general election.
