Belvidere is a town located in Lamoille County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 294. Belvidere contains the locations Belvidere Center, Belvidere Corners and Belvidere Junction. In 1963, part of Averys Gore in Franklin County became part of Belvidere, the other part became part of Montgomery, Vermont.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 83.2 km² (32.1 mi²). 83.2 km² (32.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 294 people, 114 households, and 71 families residing in the town. The population density is 3.5/km² (9.1/mi²). There are 194 housing units at an average density of 2.3/km² (6.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.66% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.34% from two or more races. 0.34% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
