Belle Isle, Newfoundland and Labrador

An island, 52 square kilometres in area, 16 km long and 5 km wide, located at Template:Coor dm. Officially uninhabited, there is some seasonal occupation during fishing season. The Strait of Belle Isle is named after it.\
Belle Isle is the northernmost peak of the Appalachian Mountains, which extend in various shapes from Alabama in the United States over 2000 miles north to Newfoundland.
