Be Not Nobody is the first album by singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton, released in 2002. (see 2002 in music).
"A Thousand Miles" was the first single off of the album and Vanessa's breakthrough hit. She said that she felt that the video, in which she is seen playing the piano in a variety of settings, was "surreal" when she first saw it on MTV. A worldwide top-10 hit, it was arguably the biggest hit of 2002. It also appears on the soundtrack for Legally Blonde. "Ordinary Day" was the second single, and "Pretty Baby" was the third.
