Geography
Bass Lake is located at 41°13'51" North, 86°35'17" West (41.230719, -86.588194)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 29.2 km² (11.3 mi²). 23.7 km² (9.1 mi²) of it is land and 5.5 km² (2.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 18.95% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,249 people, 534 households, and 365 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 52.7/km² (136.5/mi²). There are 1,193 housing units at an average density of 50.3/km² (130.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 98.40% White, 0.00% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.24% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.48% from other races, and 0.80% from two or more races. 1.12% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
