Baron Digby
|
The title Baron Digby, of Geashill in the King's County, was created in 1620 in the Peerage of Ireland. The 7th Baron was created Baron Digby, of Sherborne in the County of Dorset, in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1765, and Viscount Coleshill and Earl Digby in 1790. The Earldom and Viscountcy became extinct upon the death of his son, but the two Baronies passed together to a cousin.
