Barbara Taylor Bradford (born May 5, 1933) is an English novelist.
Barbara Taylor Bradford was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and by the age of twenty she was an editor and columnist on Fleet Street. Her first novel, A Woman of Substance, became an enduring bestseller and was followed by 18 others as well as being made into a TV movie.
Her most recent novel, Emma's Secret, reached No. 2 in the Sunday Times Bestseller list. Her books have sold more than seventy million copies worldwide in more than ninety countries and forty languages, and ten of her books have been made into mini-series and television movies. She loves in New York City with her husband, television producer Robert Bradford.
