Aymer de Valence, 2nd Earl of Pembroke

Aymer de Valence, 2nd Earl of Pembroke (1270-1324) was an English nobleman.
He was the son of William de Valence, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Joan de Muchesni, a daughter of William Marshal, Earl of Pembroke.
He married Marie de St Pol, daughter of Guy de Chatillon and, after Aymer's death, foundress of Pembroke College, Cambridge.
His most notable achievement was defeating King Robert I of Scotland (Bruce) at the Battle of Methven in 1306.
