Aurorae (band)

Aurorae is an American electronic music band formed in 1987 by an American percussionist Asyrah and a Japanese synthesizer musician AQi Fzono in New York. They started as an underground Psychedelic trance / Rave performance band heavily influenced by 60s and 70s psychedelia and hippie culture. They called their audio-visual live performances “Multimedia Visionquest” that featured electronic and ethnic music, video drug and trance dancers. They released a couple of studio albums such as Mars Botanical Garden (1989) and Unexplored Region (1994). Currently they are based in the state of Washington, USA.
