Aubrey Huff (born December 20, 1976 in Fort Worth, Texas) is a Major League Baseball player for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He has been a professional player and a member of the Devil Rays since the year 2000.
Huff earned career highs in his batting numbers in 2002 and 2003. In 2002, the designated hitter/outfielder/third baseman ended the season with a .313 batting average, leading the Devil Rays. Huff then hit 34 home runs - another team high - during the 2003 season, plus earned a .311 batting average that also led the club.
Along with Toby Hall, Damian Rolls, and Travis Harper, Huff is among the remaining few that have been with the Devil Rays for an extended period of time. The team frequently trades players away in hopes of acquiring more talented ones. This philosophy, however, has yet to work successfully.
