|
In Polynesian mythology, Auahi-Turoa is the son of Tama Nui-Te-Ra. He married Mahu-ike and had five sons, each named after a finger. They were (called collectively Manawa): Koiti ("little finger"), Konui ("thumb"), Koroa ("index finger"), Manawa ("ring finger"), Mapere ("middle finger").
