Angres is a commune of the Pas-de-Calais département (62), canton of Liévin-sud, arrondissement and a metro area of Lens. It belongs to the communauté d'agglomération of Lens-Liévin (Communaupole) which gathers 36 communes, is 250,000 inhabitants.
Location
The Bois de l'Abime (Abime Forest) is in the south along with two other communes of Souchez and Givenchy-en-Gohelle
