Andy Müller-Maguhn (*4 October 1973) is since 1986 a member and since 1990 one of the speakers of the german hacker association the Chaos Computer Club. Since the election in autumn 2000 he was one of the at-large voted director in ICANN and responsible with 18 other directors together for a period of 2 years for the worldwide development of guidelines and the decision of structural questions for the internet structure. Since June 2002 he operates as an honorary board member of the European Digital Rights (EDRI), which exerts itself as an roof organization European NGO's for the penetration of the human rights also in the digital age. Under the name Datenreisebüro (http://www.datenreisen.de/) (eng. data travel agency) he pursues since middle of 2002 in Berlin an office building that beside the Chaos Computer Club also rooms Workshop and archive rooms and tries nowadays with the concept of trainings and workshops to utilize the most different experiences in particular in the area of data protection and data security, to the creation of policies and structures. He also has helped at several of H.O.P.E.'s.
