Altichiero (around 1330 - around 1390) was an Italian painter.
He was born in Verona. A follower of Giotto, he is credited with founding the Veronese school. He worked in Verona and Padua—works by him survive in San Anastasia in Verona and in Sant' Antonio and the Oratorio de San Giorgio in Padua (where the credit for the work has been generally shared with Avanzo, about whom little is known).
