  • US Highway 101 and Interstate 280 pass through Santa Clara, and California State Highway 237 runs along the north boundary
  • Street that extends farthest west: Pruneridge Avenue. Street that extends farthest east: Campbell Avenue. Street that extends farthest north: Lafayette Street. Street that extends farthest south: Stevens Creek Boulevard (forms the southern boundary of Santa Clara)
  • El Camino Real is also the longest street to keep the same name through the whole city. Otherwise, the longest street is the one named Kiely Boulevard, Bowers Avenue, and Great America Parkway in different places
  • Unlike most cities, Santa Clara's numbered streets are not downtown, nor in an older part of the city. The seven numbered streets are all within the former Agnews Development Center site
