Alma Center is a village located in Jackson County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 446. The village is located within the Town of Alma.
Geography
Alma Center is located at 44°26'17" North, 90°54'43" West (44.438046, -90.911890)Template:GR.According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 446 people, 191 households, and 123 families residing in the village. The population density is 170.5/km² (442.5/mi²). There are 214 housing units at an average density of 81.8/km² (212.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.53% White, 0.00% African American, 1.12% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.35% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.57% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
