Albion Knight, Jr was the vice-presidential candidate of the US Taxpayers Party in the U.S. presidential election, 1992, as the running-mate of Howard Phillips. Knight has the additional distinction of being an Anglican bishop and the son of another. Formerly the presiding bishop of the United Episcopal Church of North America, he has more recently been affiliated with a conservative church in England that opposes the more moderate religious and social stance of the Church of England.
