Akagi

Akagi (赤城) means "red castle" in Japanese, and can refer to:
- A volcano in the Kanto region of Japan.
- Akagi, Gunma, a village in Gunma Prefecture
- Kei Akagi, a jazz pianist
- Akagi, Shimane (赤来町), a former town in Shimane Prefecture (now Iinan, Shimane)
- Two ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, named after the volcano:
- The first Akagi was a gunboat that fought in the Sino-Japanese War.
- The second Akagi was an aircraft carrier that fought in World War II.
- AKAGI, a Japanese cartoon series by Nobuyuki Fukumoto.
