After Hours (movie)

After Hours is an American film released in 1985, directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Joseph Minion. It depicts a New York City office worker who experiences a series of baffling and bizarre adventures and several perils in trying to make his way home from a Greenwich Village coffee shop late one night. The film was offered to Scorsese while he was attempting to get financial backing to make The Last Temptation of Christ. It was the first of Scorsese's films for a decade not to feature Robert de Niro.
