In Roman mythology, Aequitas is the goddess of fair trade and honest merchants. She is depicted with a cornucopia, representing wealth from commerce, and a balance, representing equity and fairness.
Aequitas also means "equality" or "justice", and this meaning was popularized by the movie The Boondock Saints.
