Aberdare Athletic Football Club was replaced in the Football League by Torquay United F.C. after failing to be re-elected in 1927.

- 1920-21 - Joined Southern League, Welsh Section. Runners up. Welsh League Champions
- 1921-22 - Elected to Football League Division Three South
- 1922-23 - Welsh Cup runner-up
- 1923-24 - Welsh Cup semi-finalists
- 1927 - Failed to be re-elected to Football League. Joined Southern League as Aberdare & Aberaman Athletic.
