52nd Street (IRT Flushing Line station)
|
Leaving Queens Boulevard, the next station is 52nd Street. This station has Independent Subway-style fare control grilles. The north exit now has a high exit turnstile to 53rd Street (the token booth and crossunder have been closed), and the south exit at 52nd Street has a full wooden mezzanine and crossunder. The platforms have full windscreen treatment with only a small gap on the southbound platform.
52 Street-Lincoln Avenue is the last station on the 7 on Roosevelt Avenue, New York City, before it curves onto Queens Boulevard. This station is a typical local stop, with 2 side platforms and a center exit/entrance. There is also a north part-time exit at 53 Street.
