Following the instructions on the page, I switched Internet Explorer to use the Lucida Sans Unicode font, but large sections of the page were still shown as the rectangular "unknown character" symbol. I'd be interested in hearing if it works for anyone or, if anyone knows, hearing the reason it did not work and how to fix it.
Why in the world does this page stop at 999? I'd think that 1023 would be a far better choice, especially since it coincides with the end of the Greek block. And the same goes for Unicode_51-75 and such: it's bizarre to use blocks of 25 as opposed to, say, 32. 4pq1injbok 23:48, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
listing by hex encoding would make more sense anyway (with table with 16). Why does the title say 128 while the actual table starts at 160? dab (ᛏ)
- Characters 128–160 are not part of Unicode, as the first 256 characters are taken from ISO 8859-1. In that encoding this block contains control characters which cannot be used. Of course on many systems something like (Œ), while illegal in the context of Unicode and HTML, will result in a glyph: this is because as a fallback Windows-1252, MacRoman, or a similar ISO 8859-1 superset will be used. Codes 128 to 159
Codes 128 to 159 cannot be relied upon to display the same thing — or anything at all — on any other browser, so they should never be used. The table below is for the curious on how your browser displays them. As before, the codes in this table are decimal. --Henrygb 15:57, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Maybe a jpg to augment the browser table?
I would like to suggest that some kind soul who knows what he or she is doing with such things create a table showing the correct glyphs, and then convert it into a jpg for inclusion here. This way, everyone can see the correct symbols regardless of the browser issues. The original table could be kept as well. Jimaginator 20:28, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)
