At first I didn't add the "disambiguation page" note, because I thought that there could be legitimate links here if somebody wanted to talk about the Strauss family (meaning the family of waltz composers, who are often talked about as a bunch rather than individuals). I did this myself, in fact, at ternary form. On second thoughts, however, I've decided there's probably enough material in them for a page of their own.
Incidentally, if a German speaker could confirm that Strauss really does mean ostrich, I'd be grateful - I've heard it said many times, but never quite believed it, somehow. --Camembert

- It also means "bouquet" (as in a bunch of flowers) which I think is probably closer to the root of the name. YggdrasilRoot 20:04, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
